88 Keys just opened recently in West Allis and has a great live music lineup. Cool bar and you must see their "Zen" table as I call it. It actually has water running down the middle of it over stones. A popular table so if you want to sit at it call ahead and reserve it!

Luci Boutique is now open in Bayshore Mall and still has the downtown location. Check it out regularly since Clai is constantly bringing in new selections!

Milwaukee Hispanic Chamber is best in Midwest again

The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Wisconsin (HCCW) has been named the Region 4 Large Hispanic U.S. Chamber of Commerce of the Year for the 14th consecutive year.
"The HCCW never tires and is as proud and thrilled as the first year (1996) to be notified that the HCCW is the best among its regional peers. Our accomplishment is based on basic fundamental principals - dedication, discipline and determination as we continue to champion and to advance the upward mobility of Hispanics in business, education and employment," said Maria Monreal-Cameron, president and chief executive officer of the HCCW.
Monreal-Cameron was again named the Region 4 Chamber Executive of the Year.
"A committed HCCW board and diligent staff join me in accepting this honor as a tribute to the confidence and support of our active membership, community, corporate citizenry and elected officials. It is unwavering support from our 'familia' that allows the award-winning HCCW to shine brightly not only in Milwaukee but also among our regional and national counterparts."
