The East Town Market in Cathedral Square Park, has been part of the weekend routine for East Town residents for 14 years now. Enjoy your Saturday morning coffee in a beautiful park in downtown Milwaukee while you shop for local produce and enjoy life music. Great way to start your weekend!
The Market takes place every Saturday from 8am to 12:30pm. Each week, there is something different to entice to you get out of bed and head downtown!
From live musical entertainment to guacamole making lessons to a heated chef competition, there is something for everyone each week at the East Town Market.
We kick off each Saturday morning with a relaxing yoga class at 9am, compliments of the downtown branch of The Wisconsin Athletic Club.

SIZZLIN' SATURDAYS OUTDOOR MARKET
10am to 6pm - July 17
Commission houses on Broadway imported food and dry goods into Milwaukee in the 20th Century. Historic Commission Row is the ideal spot for an outdoor market in the 21st Century!
For two Saturdays, Broadway between St. Paul and Buffalo will be lined with merchants selling antiques, art, clothing, jewelry, collectibles, fresh produce, flowers and much more!
Enjoy great jazz music by local favorites. See a style show featuring great Third Ward boutiques. Bring the kids for face painting and free ice cream!
There's great food to eat, too! Pizza will be cooked outdoors in a wood burning oven, breakfast on an outdoor stove and Rupena's will do their famous "chicken on a spit."
While Commission Row will be buzzing, there will be more music down Broadway and Third Ward retailers selling outdoors. The entire Third Ward will definitely be a bustling place so we hope you will join in the fun!
Westown's Farmers Market
The Westown Farmer's Market features more than forty vendors selling Wisconsin-grown produce, prepared food items and handmade artwork. The market will continue every Wednesday in 2010, between June 2nd and October 27th, and will bring vendors together in Zeidler Union Square to create a vibrant and diverse marketplace in the heart of Downtown Milwaukee.
10 A.M. - 3 P.M.
ZEIDLER UNION SQUARE
(On Michigan between Third & Fourth Streets)
MUSIC AND SPECIAL EVENTS
Free live music is offered every Wednesday in the Zeidler Union Square gazebo from 11:45 A.M. until 1:45 P.M. The lively tunes provide a backdrop for shoppers and the downtown lunch crowd, offering something for every musical taste--blues, jazz, folk, rock, and even Celtic can be heard throughout the season! Also visit us for special event days at the market including chef demonstrations, Children's Day, Customer Appreciation Day, Eat Local Challenge Celebration, and the Ugly Vegetable Competition!
