Local Families Need Our Help After Losing Their Homes Right Before Christmas!

This is sort of a strange story…

On The evening of December 23rd a duplex burnt down in the Milwaukee area. A friend of Tally Hayden’s, Haly Besaw, knows the upper Tenant Vue Yang. His family along with his 9 year old son (4th Grader) lost everything including their dog.

Tally found out later that she knows the lower tenant from her Manpower Days, Cass Bowers that ALSO lost everything.

Both families are thankful everyone is alright. Let’s show them the Christmas Spirit can continue even after the Holiday. If you can either donate items or cash the information is listed below for each family.

Vue Yang Family
The Yang family says they have received enough clothing. The hardest area is all of the “things” that his son lost. He could really use children’s books. He is into the Goosebumps series. He loves movies such as Godzilla and Transformers, but he really loves comedies such as “Harold and Kumar”, “Dumb and Dumber”, “Napolean Dynamite”, etc.

Hi Tally,

My son is all set for clothing, so many people have given him such nice things. My daughter and I are still in need of a few things, mostly just shoes for my daughter, she wears a size 7 1/2 or 8. I still need work clothes, pants or skirts size 12. Since we are staying with my parents and space is limited we are in need of plastic storage bins, hangers, clothing rack. And finally detergent, a mop and a broom. Also, if anyone knows a way to get the smoke smell out of fabric, that would be great! My car still smells like smoke.

People have been so generous so I was able to buy some things yesterday. I am so blessed that I was able to do that and that I have a place to stay.
